PARISA TASHAKORI
Parisa Tashakori, Iranian graphic designer, art director and curator, was born in Tehran, Iran, where she was graduated in Graphic Design (BA, MA) from Azad University of Tehran and was granted an honorary doctorate from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. During her career she has collaborated as designer and art director for several international advertising agencies and cultural institutions. Now, she works as art director in her own studio in Colorado- Boulder, focusing primarily on social and cultural communication. Tashakori was a member of the board of the Iranian Graphic Designers Society (IGDS) and was in charge of the society exhibition section from 2012 to 2015. Parisa’s works has been exhibited over than 70 national and international exhibitions in various countries and has received some international awards. She has been member of the jury for numerous international competition and festivals like Bolivia Poster Biennial in La Paz, Lahti Poster Triennial in Finland, MUT ZUR WUT competition in Germany, Poster biennial in Mexico, “Silver Cypress” in Tehran, “Segunda Llamada” in Mexico, “Posterfortomorrow” in Paris , “Anti -AIDS” in Kharkov, Ukraine. She also has organized and carried out various cultural projects and workshops as well, individually or jointly with her friends, the most important of which include: Poland Graphic Design Week in two cities of Iran, Tehran-Taipei collective poster exhibition in Taiwan, Vitrine: A historical exhibition of Iranian book cover designs in Tehran, 2nd IGDS museum exhibition (selection of old Iranian theatre posters), Divarkoob: collective poster exhibition in 5 cities of Iran.

ПАРІСА ТАШАКОРІ
Висококласний дизайнер-графік, арт-директор із своїм визначеним індивідуальним почерком, та чітко проявленим інтересом до соціальної проблематики. Все це доцільно характеризує представницю молодого покоління іранської школи плаката  ̶  Парісу Ташакорі.

Дизайнерка народилась в Тегерані, але зараз мешкає в США/Колорадо. Має диплом Магістра з графічного дизайну і займається педагогічною діяльністю. З 2012- 2015 року була членом іранського товариства дизайнерів (IGDS). Приймала участь в  заснуванні іранського музею Графічного Дизайну. Як  куратор  деяких проектів та виставок  організувала  “Vitrine  ̶  історичну виставку іранських книжкових обкладинок  та  “Divarkoob” ̶ групові виставки в  5-ти містах Ірану. Має публікації на міжнародних веб-сайтах, книгах та журналах, таких як: Varoom, Design 360, 2 + 3D, Etapes, Neshan, Tandis, Tasvir, Kak та Adobe Magazine. Впродовж своєї кар’єри  брала  участь  більш ніж  в 50 національних та міжнародних виставках у різних країнах світу та була многоразовим призером національних і міжнародних фестивалів дизайну, на кшталт: міжнародна  Триєнале еко ̶ плакату “4-й Блок” в Україні, “Ekoplagat 05” у Словаччині, COW! дизайн фестиваль в Україні, конкурс інституту переробки матеріалу в Тегерані та інш.. Все частіше Парісу Ташакорі запрошують як члена журі національних та міжнародних бієнале та триєнале, тож в  квітні 2018 ми маємо за честь приймати її у нас на ювілейної 10-й триєнале.

PAULA TROXLER
Paula Troxler is a designer and illustrator. She is a daughter of one of the most famous Swiss graphic designers nowdays –  Niklaus Troxler,  a classic of jazz poster. Undoubtedly, Paola not only inherited her father’s talent continuing to implement his ideas, but invented his unique style also. She  manipulates  with hand-made elements, fonks and images successfully.Her work crosses several mediums, from zine-making and editorial work for German magazines to designing identities for jazz festivals and theatre productions, and in each and every one of her pieces she manages to retain the same charismatic playfulness  breaking the traditional stereotypes of the modern Swiss poster.
In 2006,she graduated from the Lucerne University of Applied Arts and Design. Since 2006, she has been working at her own studios in Lucerne, Berlin and Zurich. Since 2011 – Professor at the University of Applied Sciences FH Mainz in Germany. Since 2015, has a studio derhund.org along with Cleon Medugorak.

Some of the professional awards – Special Prize at the International Biennial of the Poster in Korea (2005), First Prize at the International Biennial of the Ragoshove Theater Poster (2007), Jagda Excellent Award Award at the International Biennial Posters in Taiwan (2007), Tokyo Font Designers Club Award Type Directors Club (2007, 2009, 2010), New York Typewriters Club Type Designers Club (2007, 2009). Laureate “Golden Bee” (2010). Honorary Member of the “Golden Bee” Jury (2012).

ПАОЛА ТРОКСЛЕР
Паола Трокслер дизайнер та иллюстратор.  Походить з родини одного з найвідоміших швейцарських дизайнерів-графіків сьогодення – Ніклауса Трокслера,   класика джазового плаката.  Безсумнівно, Паола не тільки перейняла  талант свого батька і  продовжує втілювати закладені їм ідеї, але й винайшла свій унікальний стиль. Вона вдало маніпулює  з елементами hand-made, шрифтом та зображенням.  Майстриня  реалізує свій талант в різних середовищах, починаючи від створення та редакційної роботи німецьких журналів до розробки айдентикі для джазових фестивалів та театральних постановок, і кожного разу їй вдається зберегти ту харизматичну грайливість, що порушує традиційні стереотипи сучасного швейцарського плаката.

У 2006 році закінчила Люцернський університет прикладного мистецтва і дизайну. З 2006 року працює у власних студіях в Люцерні, Берліні та Цюріху. З 2011 року – професор Університету прикладних наук FH Mainz в Німеччині. З 2015 року  має студію derhund.org разом з Клеоном Медугораком.

Серед професійних нагород – Спеціальна премія на Міжнародній бієнале плаката в Кореї (2005), Перша премія на Міжнародній бієнале театрального плаката в Ржешове (2007), Премія «Jagda Excellent Award» на Міжнародній бієнале плаката на Тайвані (2007), Премія Токійського Клубу шрифтових дизайнерів Type Directors Club (2007, 2009, 2010), Премія Нью-Йоркського Клубу шрифтових дизайнерів Type Directors Club (2007, 2009). Лауреат «Golden Bee» (2010). Почесний член журі «Golden Bee» (2012).

MAJA WOLNA
Maja Volna is a graphic-designer, illustrator who is representing the younger generation of Polish designers  and  printmakers. Studied at Fine Arts Academy in Poznan. Obtained Diploma MA Fine Arts in Graphic Department at Fine Arts Academy in Poznan. Nowadays she is  working at the University of Art in Poznan at Animation Department and at the High School of the Computer Science and the Management in Warsaw at Graphic Department. She also works at the Warsaw School of Photography and Graphic Design.
The artist implements her talent in defferent ways: posters, graphics, paintings, illustrations, collages are part of her artistic work. Currently she is working with new forms of artistic expression like video art and experimentig with her voice. Maja pays much attention to social issues. Her main interests are concentrated around the phenomenon of life, human, peace, spirituality and space.

Maja takes part in many international art contests, group and individual exhibitions all over the world.  Among the most prominent victories of Maja is the receipt of a gold medal from the 22nd International Biennale of Poster in Warsaw 2010, and the Grand Prix in the international competition “Anti AIDS-Ukraine”  2006.

МАЙА ВОЛЬНА
Майя Вольна – художник-графік, дизайнер, ілюстратор,  яка представляє молоде покоління польських дизайнерів-прінтмейкерів.  Отримавши  диплом магістра образотворчого мистецтва в Познанський Академії  мистецтв, Майя викладає  в провідних учбових закладах Польщі, серед яких: Познанський Університет Мистецтв, Варшавська школа інформатикі та Варшавська школа фотографії і графічного дизайну. Майстриня  реалізує свій талант в різних середовищах, і в даний час вона працює з відеоартом та експериментує із своїм голосом. Майя багато уваги приділяє соціальній проблематиці. ЇЇ основні інтереси  вирують навколо феномена життя, людини, світу, духовності та космосу. Роботи дизайнерки приймають участь у багатьох міжнародних конкурсах мистецтва, групових та індивідуальних виставках по всьому світу, де дістають головні нагороди та призи. Серед найвидатніших перемог Майї можна назвати отримання золотої медалі з 22-го міжнародного  бієнале плакатів в Варшаві у 2010 р.,  та Гран-Прі  з міжнародного конкурсу плаката «Анти СНІД-Україна»  у 2006 році.

TETYANA BORZUNOVA
Graphic designer, art director.
In 2006, she received a Master’s degree in Graphic Design at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. For over 10 years, together with the partner Sergey Mishakin she has been managing one of the leading design studios in Ukraine – 3Z. The studio works internationally and focuses on providing services of graphic and communication design, corporate identity, visual branding, posters and books. The most resonant projects of the studio are: a logo to the Victory Day “Never Again”, and a corporate identity for the “Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine”. The works of Tatiana are easily recognized, with her elegant style and successful combination of forms and fonts, where maximum expressiveness is achieved at the expense of minimal artistic tools and contrasts. Tatiana says that each visual solution of her work is based on a solid study of the material and a conceptual idea, after which all the superfluous is cut off until the minimal necessary symbol for communication is found. In addition to business projects, the designer has a lot of cultural work, including Swap UK / Ukraine project for the British Council, Identity for Malevich Award 2016, Plan of Social Initiatives and New Music Festival Plan B, Zajazz 2010, and others.
She is a participant of numerous poster exhibitions, laureate of design festivals and competitions.:

ТЕТЯНА БОРЗУНОВА
Графік-дизайнер, арт-директор.
У 2006 році здобула диплом магістра графічного дизайну Харківської Державної Академії Дизайну та Мистецтв. Разом із партнером Сергієм Мішакіним, вже понад 10 років керує однією з провідних дизайнерських студій України – 3Z. Студія працює в міжнародному масштабі й фокусується на графічному та комунікативному дизайні, корпоративній айдентиці, візуальному брендингу, книгах. Найбільш резонансними проектами студії можна назвати: логотип до Дня Перемоги «Ніколи Знову», та корпоративну айдентику для «Міністерства Закордонних Справ України». Роботи Тетяни легко впізнаванні, адже мають свій вишуканий стиль у вигляді вдалого поєднання форм та шрифтів, де максимальна виразність досягається коштом мінімальних художніх засобів та контрастів. Сама ж Тетяна коментує, що кожне візуальне рішення базується на ґрунтовному дослідженні матеріалу та концептуальній ідеї, після чого все зайве відсікається, доки не буде знайдений мінімально необхідний символ для комунікації. Окрім бізнес проектів, дизайнерка багато працює в культурному просторі, серед яких: Swap UK/Ukraine project for British Council, Identity for Malevich Award 2016, Фестиваль соціальних ініціатив та нової музики Plan B, Zajazz 2010 та інші.
